Objective
The purpose of this policy is to set out the expectations, responsibilities and standards of conduct for all TELUP employees. It is designed to ensure a safe, respectful and productive working environment.

Scope
This policy applies to all TELUP employees, including full-time, part-time, contract and intern employees.

Standards of conduct

Punctuality and attendance:

  1. Employees are expected to arrive on time and to respect established working hours.
  2. Any absence must be reported in advance to a direct supervisor.

Safety in the workplace:

  1. Follow all safety instructions and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  2. Immediately report any incident or dangerous working condition.

Respect and behaviour:

  1. Treat all colleagues, customers and visitors with respect and courtesy.
  2. Any form of discrimination, harassment or intimidation is strictly prohibited.

Confidentiality and data protection:

  1. Respect the confidentiality of company and customer information.
  2. Follow IT security protocols to protect sensitive data.

Use of company resources:

  1. Use company equipment and resources responsibly and for business purposes only.
  2. Report any equipment faults or maintenance requirements.

Professional appearance:

  1. Respect the company dress code, which must reflect a professional image.
  2. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.

Employee responsibilities:

  1. Compliance: Employees must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  2. Communication: Encourage open and honest communication with superiors and colleagues.
  3. Training: Attend training sessions and mandatory meetings organised by the company.

Employer’s responsibilities:

  1. Training and development: Provide ongoing training opportunities for employees’ professional development.
  2. Safety and well-being: Ensuring a safe working environment and supporting employee well-being.
  3. Equity: Treat all employees fairly and with respect.

Disciplinary measures
Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, ranging from a verbal warning to dismissal, depending on the seriousness of the offence.

Revision of the Policy
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and effective. Employees will be informed of any changes made.
